The CPA firm of Dunn & Company, LLC was formed in December of 1992
and has practiced accounting for over fifteen years. The firm works
with individuals, trusts, estates, small businesses and area
non-profits. The firm focuses on providing high quality services to
a small group of clients. We employ dedicated, ethical and
experienced professionals to uphold our commitment to client

Diane Dunn, CPA
Biography
Ms. Dunn has twenty-three years experience as a CPA and is currently
the owner of Dunn & Company, LLC. Her education background includes
a BA in accounting from Wichita State University (1983). She also
currently holds a designation as Certified Specialist in Estate
Planning issued by the National Institute for Excellence in
Professional Education. Her twenty plus years of experience included
work with the regional accounting firm of Kennedy and Coe and a
local Wichita CPA firm. During those twenty-three years she has
gained significant experience working with area small businesses and
nonprofit organizations providing audit, accounting, bookkeeping and
payroll services. She also works extensively with individual, trusts
and estates providing services in taxation and planning. She has
served on the Board of Directors of Rainbows United and served as
their President and Treasurer. She has also served on the Board of
Directors of the Institute of Management Accountants and also served
as their President.
Kristy Sutherland, CPA
Biography
Ms. Sutherland joined the firm in 1997. Her educational background
includes a BA from Friends University (1996). She also currently
holds a designation as Certified Specialist in Estate Planning
issued by the National Institute for Excellence in Professional
Education. She has been a CPA for over ten years and previously
worked as an accountant at a Wichita area non-profit. Kristy is
currently in charge of our Accounting Services Department. Ms.
Sutherland works extensively in the area of individual, business and
trust taxation and provides audit and accounting services to many
Wichita area nonprofits.
Valarie Magana, CPA
Biography
Ms. Magana joined the firm in 2000. Her educational background
includes a BA from Wichita State University (1994). She has been a
CPA for over eleven years and previously worked at a local Wichita
CPA firm. Valarie has extensive corporate tax experience. She also
works in the accounting services area and assists our office with
bookkeeping and QuickBooks accounting support.
